Root Beer Ice Pops
Get the flavor of an old-fashioned root beer ice pop without having to chase after the ice cream truck!
Makes 6 (1/2-cup) servings.
Prep Time: 10 minutes Freeze Time: 4 to 5 hours
Ingredients

1 cup sugar
|

3 cups hot water
|
|
1 tablespoon ZATARAIN'S® Root Beer Extract
|
|
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
|
|
1 teaspoon lemon juice
|
Directions
1. Stir sugar and hot water in medium bowl until sugar is dissolved. Stir in Root Beer Extract, vanilla and lemon juice.
2. Pour 1/2 cup of mixture into each popsicle mold. Freeze about 2 hours or until partially frozen. Insert popsicle sticks into each mold. Freeze 2 to 3 hours longer or until frozen.
Note: Freezing time may vary according to the size of popsicle mold.
Tips
Test Kitchen Tip: If popsicle molds are unavailable, use small disposable plastic cups and plastic spoons.
