A light, corn based coating for frying seafood or vegetables. Just roll seafood in Fish Fri (no wash or messy batter), season to taste with ZATARAIN'S® Creole Seasoning, and fry to a light golden brown. Salt free. All Natural. This product is available in your grocery stores in a 24oz. box, UPC 7142902431 and a 10oz. poly bag, UPC 7142901068.
Tips:
Oysters should be drained, seasoned with salt and pepper, and rolled in Fish-Fri for an even, thick coating. Cook a few at a time for 2-3 minutes in 2 inches of hot vegetable oil.
Soft shell crabs should be cleaned, rolled in Fish-Fri, dipped in a lightly beaten mix of 1 cup milk and 1 egg, then rolled in Fish-Fri a second time. Cook for 3-4 minutes in 1/2 inch of hot vegetable oil.
